Barry and Debra Shaw have embarked on a heartwarming journey to breathe new life into a historic home in Millport. Unsure of their initial plans, the couple purchased the property with the hope of preserving its charm. After closing on the deal, Debra jokingly suggested they open a home decorating and antique store, an idea that resonated deeply with both of them due to their shared love of collectibles. Starting in February 2024, the Shaws have meticulously removed, replaced, and painted various parts of the home, transforming it into a welcoming space. "If walls could talk, I feel like the old house would smile and say, 'Thank you for loving me and giving me a second chance just as God gives us every day,'" Debra reflected on the project.
