Established in the summer of 2023, the Highway 16 Mountain Shop is located in Crumpler, in Lee McMillan's old office. The most notable owner of Shatley Springs, Lee was a hoarder of everything. “If he didn't have it, you didn't need it,” as the saying goes. The owner, Donna, is selling everything of value in her uncle's collection, including antique furniture, dishes and glasses, pocket knives, jewelry, and most recently the products of local crafters, such as candy made from “K’s Kitchen,” and earrings made by “the Broken Buffalo.” Find the shop at 4055 NC Highway 16 N.
